Chris Loving

President

Chris, President and owner of Concept Commercial Construction, brings nearly three decades of industry experience to the company. Leading Concept Commercial Construction for 15 years, Chris consistently delivers high-quality projects, earning a high rate of repeat clients.

Starting as a carpenter, Chris advanced to superintendent and project manager for a regional commercial contractor in Utah and Arizona. He also ran a home services franchise and a small business before founding Concept Commercial Construction. With a Business Management degree from Salt Lake Community College and multiple Aji Business Professionals courses, Chris remains committed to ongoing learning and industry involvement through NAIOP and LAI memberships.

Outside of work, Chris values his role as a family mentor, husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoys outdoor activities like mountain riding, kayaking, and fly fishing. As an active member of his faith community, Chris holds leadership and mentoring positions.

Chris’s leadership fosters a workplace where integrity and fulfillment thrive. His business ethics emphasize honesty, dignity, and satisfaction, making him a respected professional. Guided by the motto “By our actions you will know us,” Chris prioritizes trust in every project at Concept Commercial Construction.

Matt Kallas

Vice President

With over 30 years of experience, Matt is crucial to Concept Commercial Construction’s success, serving as Vice President and Director of Operations since 2008. He excels in managing complex projects, consistently finding solutions to avoid schedule delays and budget overruns.

Matt’s career began in Utah at Magleby Construction building luxury homes before transitioning to commercial construction with Greenwood Construction. As the owner of Kallas Development, he combined business insights with hands-on experience. He also holds a private pilot’s license from Utah Valley University.

Known for his integrity and leadership, Matt inspires his team to deliver outstanding results on high-profile projects. His involvement in industry networks like NAIOP and Lambda Alpha International keeps him at the forefront of industry advancements. Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with family and friends, and loves outdoor activities in the mountains and at the lake.
